A Qantas 737 flying from Sydney to Perth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Adelaide last night so its toilets could be emptied.
Flight staff on QF571 told passengers that Sydney ground staff had forgotten to empty the toilets on the 737-300, which originated in the United States.
The aircraft had only been flying for an hour when three of the toilets ceased to function, Fairfax reports today.
"They told us that under any reasonable calculation, the rest of them would go pretty quickly," a passenger said.
