JetBlue TrueBlue - Did JB ever go to Reno?

O.K, I'm an idiot. Lets make that the 1st point.
But, I have to recreate some travel documents for a business trip I did 4 1/2 years ago. I have done the JFK <-> RNO run a bunch of times on a bunch of carriers and even mixed carriers. But I have no record of this one trip I need. I have hotel paperwork, car rental paperwork, food receipts, but for all I can prove I beamed myself to Reno from NY.
Now, the problem is I would not have paid for the ticket, (customer provided travel) so I can't even go though CC bills. And a few times I didn't get mileage credit (since I didn't buy the ticket) and I was too busy to go back and get it so some trips are not even in the airlines FF logs. Apparently I flew PHX-> JFK more times then I flew JFK->PHX
Now I KNOW that I did B6 JFK-> LAS and B6 JFK-> PHX a few times and then took SW and US to RNO. I am just trying to figure out if I took them the rest of the way.
Thanks,
Dave

I got a good laugh at your first line :D
JetBlue never served Reno. It has been a rumor on here for some time, but I can definitely tell you we never went there.
PS -- JetBlue = B6, Sothwest = WN

Well, then can you tell me how the hell I got there Jan 2004? :D

Yes, I know I am just so stressed at the moment trying to find proof of this trip that I was not paying attention to what I was typing.
Thanks for the info. I do believe I am going to get crucified (or at least taxed a lot) on Monday however.

Was it a nonstop? Maybe CO from EWR?
I'm not sure if CO was still operating the route in 2004. And FWIW they are pulling out of RNO completely later this year with the end of the IAH service.
AmericaWest (HP) flew it for a while to/from JFK. That is the most likely candidate for how you got back.

It would have been out of JFK.
The problem is that I did the trip 22 times between 2/2002 and 12/2004 and kept very poor records.
All were leave Friday return Sunday.
I don't remember any nonstop. Most were JFK to PHX or LAS then to RNO. A couple were JFK to SFO then RNO. And there were a couple of joyous ones that stopped in the middle of nowhere then RNO.

If it wasn't a non-stop then you likely took HP on the LAS and PHX connections and UA on the SFO connections, assuming it was a single carrier all the way through. I have no idea about who you would've flows on a "middle of nowhere" connection, nor can I tell you which of these you had in January '04.
Do you have old emails of travel itineraries filed away somewhere by any chance? I found that mine were quite helpful in putting my FlightMemory page together.

It was AA to DEN or ORD. Close enough for nowhere.

No, since I didn't book them. The problem was I usually found out about a late Friday flight sometime on Friday AM. I then booked the car and hotel but the tickets were given to me. The company that was sending me went out of business so no luck there.

Nope, never did, I think the closest thing to service B6 has is when Folsom Prison Blues is played on XM 11 America (Classic Country). :D

Up until last year Frontier did operate flights out of RNO and they do go to New York via Denver. Maybe it was Frontier. They do have very similar plane with the same exact entertainment system as jetBlue.

Yes, CO does have served nonstop from EWR-RNO for awhile.

When did HP serve this route? According to the DOT T100 (data begins in 1990) they never served it.
CO served EWRRNO once a week for 3 months starting Jan 2005.

I took JFK->LAS->RNO on HP but I don't ever remember JFK->RNO but once again that is what was booked for me not what the best route available.
I can't find any paperwork so it looks like I have to pay some "back taxes" tomorrow. :(

I could've sworn they did, as I was helping a friend book flights a few years back and I thought that was one of the options. I guess my memory fails me.

Could it have been on QQ (Reno Air)?
They flew a lot of nonstops to/from RNO, but I don't know about the East Coast.

Not that any one cares but I just got the letter back from the IRS.
$1150 / no fees or interest if I pay in 2 weeks.
They allowed for several expenditures that I could not document, but were somewhat obvious that they would have to occur. i.e I had parking receipts and gas receipts but no proof of car rental for a couple of trips. However, since I had the same charges for other trips they let that slide.
Some other missing travel stuff they also looked the other way on. Such as food and the like.
However, they did stand fast on the no proof of ticket purchase or flight or hotel stay then no trip occurred. Such is life, it could have been worse.
