Suggestions - FT should Cease & desist endorsing/supporting religious charity's

I was shocked and offended by FT Talkboard deciding to support a religious charity which decree's hatred & harm towards some members of the FT community (GLBT forum).

I would like FT to alter the present rules so that the board does not and cannot support in any way religious or political organisations for any reason.

I cannot believe this situation has been allowed to happen in the first place.

It makes me very ashamed and horrified.

It seems to me that this has been a pretty unpopular event. There has been such an outcry against it that, to me, anything less than an immediate reversal would be pretty ridiculous..

Sometimes the administrators of websites forget that the reason why their websites are popular or profitable to begin with is due to their user base.. And if the popular opinion is a certain thing, it should be paid attention to..

Also I REALLY don't mean to slam the people who run this great forum, but I always thought it was borderline ridiculous with the amount of self created bureaucracy that goes on here.. I'm a webmaster and the sole administrator of several invision software powered internet forums, and it's a joke to me that such a BFD is made out of the creations and management of the forums here.. It's a web forum, not a western style government... Just my 2 cents..

but they refuse to put a commercial website for INFO from FT'er who has contributed valkuable time on FT with their posts and has built a good name on trades.

yet a "religious mission" asks for help and viola -- it has been supoorted by NON-denominational TB...

Suggestion noted and as such have taken all comments and the situation under advisement. To allow me an opportunity to review the situation, it has become reasonable to close various threads related to the topic and I hope you can appreciate what that effort will entail.

Further, I'll step forward and assume all responsibility to date on this. Please reserve any additional thoughts toward the TalkBoard since I've taken the responsibility.
