Hertz - NYC Question

Has anyone ever requested one of the NYC locations to get a car they normally do not have online for reservation, but DO have at JFK?

Or am I stuck doing a one day reservation at 15USD just for the one hour drive to JFK to pick up the other car (which would be OK as well, since I hope to get two rentals out of it then).

I hope you make it there in 1 hour, otherwise this could easily become a $30 (+taxes) rental.

Sorry, it was 23USD + Tax (3.07) for a full one day rental with a two hour turn around time.

Still less than a taxi.

Or even with AMEX Plat CDP I can get it down to 19.54 + 2.61.
