I'm visiting my parents in Keokuk, Iowa the last week in August. I usually go at Christmas and we sit around and eat and I freeze (I live in Texas). Not this time. But a week of sitting home and watching the Food Channel or the Disney Channel (depending on whether it is my folks or their grandkids who have the remote) doesn't sound appealing. Any recommendations for activities? Especially ones that might be fun for my young niece and nephew (a goat farm or something?).
Thanks!!
Iowa is a great place, the only place I want to vacation. Honestly just ask the 100 or so Time Share reps Ive had to talk with:D
Ok I'll come clean Iowa is my 2nd favorite place, Oklahoma is #1
Yep no better way to let them know , I aint gonna be buying
At 1st they dont believe me till I start talking about the solitude of being in the corn fields:p they ask about sports, I answer sports who needs that when you have the corn. Then we talk about anything but a TS:D
I guess you can have a contest, who can find the ear of corn with the most niblets on it

You won't be too far from Hannibal, MO. Are the kids fans of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn?
