Midwest - Place to Park Near FNT

Labor Day weekend we will be heading to Michigans UP for the bridge walk and other shenanigans. Most of use will be heading north from Detroit, but one is coming from Battle Creek. To save time/gas we will meet near FNT and take one car from there. Where might be a good place to leave a car for a few nights? I'm thinking that using a hotel lot would be good as it is normal to have cars parked overnight - unlike a park & ride lot, shopping mall, etc.

The Holiday Inn on Gateway Center looks like a good spot with easy access and lots of space. Any other opinions?

Meijers is open 24/7. There is one at US23/Hill Rd and another on Pierson just west of I75.

Or you could always use the Bishop airport lot for $4/5 per day if you want something more secure.
