I got a black postcard today with those words and BlackCard Circle.com on the back. On the front my name (Just Dr. lastname) and address on a peeloff label, a stamp and the words Exclusive Global Access TM below the label.
Know what this is?? How did they get my name and address?

They have a few in person events each year, all pretty exclusive and high-end, invitation or for members only. Site looks interesting.

It will only extend the Mac warranty one year.

As suspicious as this poster sounds, he is somewhat correct. I don't know what the "original manufacturer warranty" for a Mac is, but I assume it's 1 year like most other computer manufacturers. However, IF it is possible to get one with an Apple 3-year warranty it could be extended for an additional 3 years:
Extended Warranty14
When you purchase a covered item and pay for it entirely with your Centurion Card, Extended Warranty will extend the terms of the original manufacturer's warranty for a period of time equal to the duration of the original manufacturer's warranty, up to three additional years, on warranties of five years or less that are eligible in the U.S.
14. Extended Warranty is underwritten by AMEX Assurance Company, Administrative Office, Green Bay, WI. Coverage is determined by the terms, conditions, and exclusions of Policy AX0953 or Policy EW-IND and is subject to change with notice. This document does not supplement or replace the Policy.

I know. But it is only a one year warranty. The 3-year warranty is a 1-year plus a 2-year add-on, netting the buyer only one additional year, though it is year number 4. There have been at least two threads in the past 6 months on this topic. There is value in the extended warranty, but it will only give you a 4 year warranty on your computer, not a 6 year warranty.
ETA: Here's a link (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=800063&highlight=warranty+centurion+mac) to a more detailed explanation.

There was a rather lengthy discussion on this a few years back which, unfortunately, I can't find using the thread search tool. Maybe someone else can. In any case, I recall the general consensus back then was much the same as now: it seemed suspiciously like a rip-off.
