I am trying to find low fares from RDU or CLT to TPA. Can anyone help me find "real" deals? Does anyone have any extra rewards from Airtran that no one is using?

Kind of an important detail...it can make a big difference to available fares... Roundtrip or one way would help too...;) And - just quietly - IF you also share what you have been able to find yourself.. sort of shows you're trying and not just expecting others to do it all.. No offence meant... ANYWAY... a really quick look (and I'm no expert which shows it ain't hard!) shows flights on Delta (DL) for some dates in August from RDU as low as $155 return.... from CLT isn't as good as far as I could fine with a quick look.... That was just on Expedia.com... Cholula Jul 30, 08, 11:58 pm ericontheweb, welcome to FlyerTalk! I don't mind making one stop in Atlanta or Charlotte. the Cheapest I have found is for 162.00 with a stop in Miami but my girlfriend does not want me to stop there. Don't know why. fedup flyer Jul 31, 08, 11:14 am the Cheapest I have found is for 162.00 with a stop in Miami but my girlfriend does not want me to stop there. Don't know why. You can drive it for $162. One way that is. That is a increible low price. I just went to orbitz.com and found a USAir flight for $165. Thats a really good deal. Actually its too cheap. How much do you think the flight should go for? TMOliver Jul 31, 08, 11:16 am I am leaving Sept 9 between 4 and 7 pm and returning on the 14th between 7 and 9 am. That seems by any standard to be a pretty good deal. Most of us have to be satisfied any semblance of a preferred departure and return time window. MileageAddict Jul 31, 08, 11:18 am That $162 fare seems to be the best right now (AA via RDU) You can also opt to take nonstop flights on Southwest RDU-TPA for $179 RT. Use http://www.kayak.com and check often. ericontheweb Jul 31, 08, 1:37 pm Are there ways to get some discounts? Has anyone flown with Airtran? What are the best ways to get good prices?
