AMFA Files With NMB for Southwest Airlines Employees
The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) filed today with the National Mediation Board (NMB) for a representation election on behalf of the mechanics and related employees at Southwest Airlines. The 1,700 plus mechanics and related employees, who are currently represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), are seeking representation with AMFA.
