Budget Travel - NRT to other places!

Good Day:

I am flying return USA-NRT for 12 days in December. Any suggestions for NRT-PEK returning PEK-Korea stopover (ICN or CJU)-NRT? Pricing is absolutely crazy. Should I even consider Skyteam Asia Pass, or would I be better off with the consolidators?
