JetBlue TrueBlue - college or bonus credit

I don't think so.

from what I've read, if you're active in your student organizations and organize trips for a large number of people you might get your flight covered... like say for spring break travel.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. A little off topic: United used to have a Mileage Plus add-on called "College Plus" which came with no real benefits, except for a generous one-time 10,000 mile bonus for graduating. Don't think that still exists, but worth looking into if you're nearing that milestone.
