Southwest Rapid Rewards - Checked luggage and RR credit on back-to-back tickets?

I have booked OAK to LAS via LAX on back-to-back tickets, which right now are cheaper than nonstop flights. Plus I get 4 credits each way. Doubling down, as it were. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Never having done this before, I have a question: Can I check my luggage all the way to LAS, and if so will that eliminate my double-double credit?

If this is a "scheduled connection" you should have no problem with getting your luggage checked all the way. A "scheduled connection" is one that can be found in the timetable or on www.southwest.com. (http://www.southwest.com.)

If it is not, don't give up hope! If there is at least 45 minutes in the connection city, you can always ask the CSA. Good Luck!
