Greetings,

Got back from a trip to Porto (Portugal). One of the best airports in the
world, very easy to navigate. Metro station is right @ airport.
The city has much to offer and one can spend all day window shopping, and
trying out different mom and pop stores to eat, all at very reasonable price.
Most of these small eating places don't take credit card.

I stayed at Melia Gaia Porto, 10 minutes from the closest Metro station.
It is a great property with a beautiful and spacious lobby. Very small but
functional elevator. No pool. Rooms are very nice and bathroom amenities
are awesome. If you are lucky you can be overlooking the beautiful river
that separates the two cities. Great place for an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast buffet is just unbelievable, with so many different kinds of
bread, cheese jam, many different meats and all kinds of juices, made to
order egg, and all that one can ever imagine. The buffet layout is very
very inviting. I have never had this kind of buffet anywhere in the world
in all of my travels. I had lunch buffet. Yes, the dishes are so so moth
watering and literally many different kinds of food. It is worth every
penny.

The front desk staff and the restaurant staff are friendly, warm and very
caring. I wish I could live at this hotel.
