Air New Zealand Air Points - Bottle of Wine on Domestic Flights in NZ ?

Need to know if the security on NZ domestic flights are the same as Austalia. Can I carry a bottle of wine ( From duty free out of SYD) onto a domestic flight from Christchurch to Queenstown ? I know I can put it in my checked luggage, but I would like to buy something special from DF for my Kiwi friends ! :confused:

LAG rules only apply for international flights....including the international shuttles between CHC-AKL.

From the title I actually thought you were after the wine that NZ provides as part of Koru Hour.

Out of curiosity, what wines does NZ usually serve on Koru Hour? I've never had the pleasure. I hope it's not the same old booooring mini-bottles of Montana? (Not that I would complain - the return of free booze on domestic is definitely a thing to be celebrated :) and envied from over here in the US :( )

No mini bottles. Every time it seems to be something different, sometimes quite average and sometimes you get lucky and get a real treat (as in better than the business class wines!).

On a side note if you are flying CHC-ZQN on a ATR you do not go though screening.
