Travel Photography - JVC 30 GB Camcorder

Hello all,
Wondering if ya'll have any experience with the JVC 30gb Everio (GZ-MG330U)? My first impreions are that it's ok but not fantastic. the video playback on my hd tv via included cables are not impresive.. Anyway any tips and opinions are welcomed.

Let me get back to you on this one in a few days. Am just about to boil down 3 hours worth of video in to a 4-5 minute EPK of video shot with one of those. Grabbing the video off the camera on to my MBP took 7 minutes. With my old MiniDV it would have taken me the three hours. I was against HDD cameras before that experience.

Right, back to the editing. Got to have a rough cut of it by tomorrow.
