Summer Travel; Fares Range From $39 to $99 Each Way
Summer may be half-over but that doesn't mean you can't still plan an affordable vacation. With fares ranging from $39 to $99 each way, you can make those last-minute reservations for end- of-summer fun or to plan ahead for back-to-school.
Fares range from $39 to $99 each way on off-peak days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday) and from $44 to $129 each way on the busier peak days (Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday).
Southwest has lowered fares even further in several select shorthaul markets. Travelers in the Midwest can take advantage of everyday fares of just $34 each way in select markets from St. Louis, Chicago Midway, Detroit, Nashville, Cleveland, Columbus, Kansas City, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Louisville, Omaha, Tulsa, and Indianapolis.
Travel to and from Southwest's Florida cities starts at just $39 each way. (These fares are good for travel from Aug. 5 through Sept. 29, 2002.)
