Hertz - Minivan leg-room

Help...

On investigation for days now I've come to a conclusion that the Toyota Sienna has the best rear-seat leg room in its class. It seems that Hertz is the only rental company that does these.

The rest (Dodge Caravan, Chevrolet Uplander etc) don't have the room I need (4x 6 feet tall adults heading from SFO to LAS).

Now for the $64,000 question.... What is the chances of there being one in stock in SFO on 7th October 2008? Any takers? Is it best to call in advance to reserve one if possible?

I just rented a Uplander LS minivan (from National), we put in 6 people (3 tall adults) -- I thought it had an insanely large amount of legroom.

You can't reserve that specific make and model. I would however reserve a minivan and call the SFO station the day before (and the morning of) to try and get a Sienna. Of course they can't promise it, but I think there is a reasonable chance you could get one (and if not, hopefully a reasonable alternative).
