JetBlue TrueBlue - Anyone flown out of JFK on a Saturday morning this summer?

I'm only asking about this month and a Saturday morning. If you have, how was it? How long were the lines?

Past experience is that with all the families leaving for vacation every Saturday through the summer it leads to much bigger crowds. One Saturday morning last summer it took me over an hour just to check my bag and then I had to get through security. I arrived over two hours early and barely made my flight.

Family Vacations + Summer Storms + Reduced Capacity = long wait. I'm pretty sure that it will take a bit to get your bag checked. To me it seems we are seeing some higher loads on flights. It could, again, be contributed to the fact that we aren't running a million flights any more.

I can now answer my own question. Last Saturday, I arrived at JFK around 10am) and it was empty. (empty means five minute waits to check my bag and get through security).

I guess you saw for yourself, but I also flew out last Saturday and despite the plethora of flights leaving, there weren't long lines at all and the flow in the terminal was very good. Also, it seems that morning flights are more prone to be on-time than evening flights out of JFK.
