Los Angeles - Black Diamond Self Select Lanes at SNA

Just heard they will be implementing Black Diamond Self Select Lanes at SNA (http://www.ocair.com/newsandfacts/newsreleases/2008/NR-2008-07-22.html) soon. Are they going to get rid of the first class lanes as a result?

The goal of TSA is use their version of the lanes, the black diamond in lieu of the premium security lines. I consider it yet another stupid move by TSA, but there have been so many its hard to see the light anymore. There are a number of threads on the topic in the safety/security forum.

So most travelers have trouble understanding what a 3oz container is but will be able to figure out which lane to use? :mad: Nice.
