EVA Air's service to Amsterdam will be replaced by 777-300ER starting 01SEP08.

The 747-400COMBI will be pulled out from this route.

Yep, how sad. Evergreen Deluxe - which in my opinion made EVA a great airline - continues its slow death.

I'm hoping to get one of the last combo flights back from TPE in good 'ole deluxe at the end of September.

Means a connection in AMS, but for once I won't be on an early morning flight out of TPE.

JIm maybe we should do another Thursday night in memory of Deluxe class ? sorry but its the best excuse I can think of
