SAS EuroBonus - Booking an award ticket. (problem)

Hey all.

I`m trying to book an award ticket and nothing is working.
I get the dates up no worries.....but when those are chosen, this bloody error comes up?!:confused:
Is my comp all stuffed up or are you guys having problems too?

I have the same problem... Neither Safari or Firefox works... Everything works fine until confirmation and price, then it all goes to h..l:confused:

Thanks to BT being quite generous with EB points (and a nice/lazy agent rebooking me into a 100% earning booking class from a 25% due to a schedule change...) I amassed enough EB points for another point bargain award. But when I'm trying to book it I'm getting errors as well. The availability date view shows up fine, there is availability in all the appropriate booking classes for the dates I want but when I click on the "Next" button I get a "404 page not found" error. The exact wording depends a bit on the site used - tried .fi, .dk and .se and all have the same problem.

Has anybody been able to book any awards online in the last couple of weeks? Is this a known problem or just bad luck on my part?

This was the exact result I got when searching for awards about a month ago. I tried IE on a PC, and both Firefox and Safari on a Mac.

As far as known problem, it is known to several of us here on FT. :) A few people have reported several different browser errors, all resulting in no satisfaction from trying to search for, or book, awards.

Whether SAS knows or is addressing the problem is another issue.

I have not tested the system to the final page, as it fails quite early in the process.

I wanted to check for award tickets KRS - CPH and get the screen showing all available dates and booking classes. All classes are available and I click next, but get the page not found error.

I also tried the same with OSL - CPH, and there I get directly to the page where I can select time of day. So it seems to be working.

I have also used the prognosis tool to check for available award seats, and there should be plenty on KRS - CPH for my desired dates.

So, yes, SAS has an error in the booking tool!

I reported this as well a while ago and got an email from sas internet support that it is known and they are working on it. It works in MSIE for me at least
