I don't know if anyone else here got this email as most of you are far more frequent Hertz renters than me, but this seems like a worthwhile promo.
Free Day and More to Welcome You Back
We miss you! To welcome you back to Hertz, we'll give you a bonus of 600 Hertz #1 Awards® Points — enough for a Free Non-Peak Rental Day. Plus, you can choose either $10 Off a Day or a One-Car-Class Upgrade! Simply use PC# 122054 for $10 off or PC# 122065 for Upgrade with your reservation. Offer valid in the U.S. or Canada through October 31, 2008
Presumably this offer is targeted, since I have only rented once from Hertz in 2008 (I rent a car at least once a week and in my experience, Avis and National offer better prices, lower-mileage cars, and none of the overcharging/other billing issues I used to have with Hertz) but considering the value of 600 ZE1 points, I'll take them up on their offer sometime before October 31. ^

Have they awarded you the points upfront or you need to use the PCs and earn this bonus on your upcoming rental?

I received it as well, but in my case I've currently got 34 Hertz rentals YTD-- and up unitl my recent broken ankle, had been renting at least once or twice a week with them. So if they 'Miss Me'... it's been less than 30 days since my last rental ??? That being said, I will use the Free Weekend rental on an upcoming LAS trip in Sept :p
Has anyone used this code yet? If you have, can you shoot me a PM as I have a question for you.

This may be the situation at your airport for your selected dates of travel. I can verify that it is valid for all car classes. Again, if anyone has used this already, please shoot me a PM.

just tried booking this PC online from my HLE...I was able to book a midsize, so the premium restriction doesn't hold for my HLE.
Problem: PC jacked up my CDP discount by $13/day, so the $10/day rebate doesn't make any sense.
typical HERTZ PC...

How long does it typically take for the 600 bonus points to post?

I just rented a car for one day from Newark airport and the rate was $111 / day for a full size (before CDP discounts) on a weekend day. So if I had to pay $13 more for bonus points worth a free day, it would totally be worth it. If you have a long rental, obviously it would not be worth it.

Has anyone gotten the 600 bonus points from this? I have done 3 rentals with this code and the normal ZE1 points have posted, but none of the bonus points have posted?
How long does it normally take for bonus ZE1 points to post?

Nothing here and I changed the coupon midrental. Hertz #1 says they still see the old coupon and don't see the 122054 coupon in the car rental.
My receipt clearly shows ZE1 points and the 122054 coupon. This is upsetting. I emailed them back telling them I will fax it in. I must have to call about it. This is a pain.

I just got this today. They miss me? Is it because I haven't rented a car in two weeks?
Don't get me wrong, I'll gladly take it, but I didn't realize they would miss me this soon!

Some of my rentals have posted; others have not. Without an online accounting, it is difficult to keep track.

You do have access to online accounting. You can look up your monthly statements here (https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/emember/affinity/account/index.jsp?targetPage=awardsView.jsp) (you'll see the last three monthly statements listed under the "#1 Awards" column on the left side of the page). It's not very optimal at all, but the statements are accessible.

it looks like mine just posted also (2 - 3 weeks after my rental), but I'll have to wait until the end of the month when the statement posts online to know for sure.

My mistake - it was in fact my regular free day hertz award points posted. That promo never materialized.
My SO on the other hand did get that offer, next time i'll ask her to rent for a change...

I've been using this promo for the last 3 weeks and each time the 600 addl points posted within 4 calendar days following my rental (either using PC 122054 or 122065).

I wasn't able to use the first code combined with our CDP corp rate, but the second one appears without changing the rate. Now, let's see if we get the bonus points as per Susan8601. We have three more rentals before the end of the month, if we really get 600 bonus points per rental, that will put me over the top for a free week for our vacation in January. :)

I'm pretty sure I got the first 600 bonus points with last week's rental. My point total jumped 736, and the rental base rate was $135 or so, so it appears to have that extra 600. Yeah! BTW, is there any way to actually see how many points you get for each rental before they appear on the monthly statement area? Car was returned on Friday and points appeared since yesterday, so 2 days seems an excellent turn around. Hopefully, I'll get the other two 600 bonus points for our two more rentals before the end of the month. I'll then have enough points to not only get a regular free week's rental in January, but possibly a 4000 point specialty vehicle rental. Ooh, which cars are those?
If anyone has any additional bonus codes, please post them soon, the ones currently in the OP expire on 10/31/08. We rent too frequently to get any "we miss you" emails!

It's really killing me that I didn't see this post until a couple weeks ago. DH has rented about 10 times since the OP, we could have had a couple free specialty weeks if I had the code on all those rentals. :(
If anyone gets any new bonus point codes that expire later than 10/31/08, please post them soon. :-:

The second code in the OP is good until 12/31/08.
I just called Hertz CS for a different reason but ended up discussing my current rental with this promotion code on it and learned that.
That's #122065 which is for 1 upgrade and 600 #1 Award Bonus Points.

May I ask why? If you put in a promo code and it is not honored, should you not ask why you didn't get it? Or are you worried that you will not get similar codes in the future?
azepine00

This is targeted, so unless you received the email the code is not supposed to work on your rentals.
Here is a recent example (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=836293) of how FT (and FW, SD etc) threads facilitate rapid demise of promos...

Well these codes expired at the end of 2008. Does anyone have anything similar that's good now? Most of our rentals are dh's business travel and it's nice getting those bonus points to use for our personal rentals.
