Starwood Preferred Guest - SPG.com dropping properties/bad rates?

Searching for hotels in New Orleans and SPG.com no longer presents the Sheraton on Canal... Checked several different dates and same results. Fortunately, I know the property exists, and I have a previous reservation so I'm able to get to the property page to check rates from there. But that only works for areas where I already know where properties exist. Gonna be tough to maintain Platinum status if I can't find the properties!

Also, when selecting the W New Orleans (8/31), the first page shows a rate of $89, but when trying to book that rate it is not available. I checked standard, AAA, SET, and Government rates, all higher. How does this not smack of bait and switch? This is not a new event for SPG.com, just the first time I've decided to post something about it.

Check out the The Westin New Orleans Canal Place. I dont know if that used to be the sheraton, but they have some good rates.

Rooms from USD
118
per night

When selecting the Planet Hollywood (8/1/08 - 8/3/08), the first page shows a rate of $118, but when trying to book that rate a lower rate is also available in the Promos section for just $99. How does this not smack of bait and switch? This is not a new event for SPG.com, just the first time I've decided to post something about it.

<<end sarcasm>> ;)

I know they will show some cheap rates sometimes, then it is a lot higher. If I remove my corp rate the price is the lower one. I do not understand how my corp rate could be so much higher.
