I have recently started using ExpertFlyer.com and i have noticed a *huge* difference between using the site in Firefox 3 vs. in Safari 3 (on a Mac running tha latest everything.) In Firefox, it is agonizingly slow; the javascript popups basically freeze my entire FF session!

Has anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if it's just me or a common problem before reporting the problem to ExpertFlyer customer service.

I generally open up things I want to see in new windows and do this more or less in a batch. That is, view the tech forum and open the threads I want to read in a new tab. This is much more efficient than opening each page one a time. Doesn't really answer your question, but it could give you a way around it.

I'm using a PC right now and in Firefox, the site opens up in a second. I can check on my Mac later. I don't use Safari. It seems like Apple could spend the resources used to develop it on better things to me.

I don't use Safari, but EF is mighty quick for me with FireFox. No issues at all.
