Anticipate renting a car soon. Have no status with Hertz, not even a 'member'. However, I do work for a company that has an account, although the prices didn't seem as good for the weekend as for a non-account person...
Few questions, please:
~ If I reserve a car online using a code that has been posted but is for Hertz Gold or higher member, will it be allowed to go through when I actually get the car?
~ I may have access to a free 1-day coupon that was sent with a co-worker's Hertz statement -- can I use it, would I just need to prove that I am also a company employee?
~ I have been 'playing around' with dates/times for the rental, although as I understand it, the actual pick-up/drop-off times are what trigger the final rate/costs. For instance, I seem to lose the free weekend day promo if I picked up the car past a certain hour, etc. That's how it is, then, correct?
