Do not under any circumstances rent Europcar at LHR unless you have a corporate rental.
My company now has a corporate deal with Europcar, on both occasions that I picked up a car early morning at LHR within the last month, the queue for non-corporate rentals was out of the door. I estimated > 50 people and a > 30 minute wait, just what you you want after an overnight flight.
Plenty of cars, queue caused by agents wanting to sell you anything from a full tank to an embroidered child's car seat.
