California - Open house at Diamond Creek winery

I'm planning to visit Diamond Creek at one of their open houses this summer. Nice as I'm sure it would be to spend most of the day there, I have a few other things I'd really like to do first, and it would be easier by far for me to skip the tour and just show up for the tasting. If anyone has been there for open house, I'd appreciate any comments. Is the tour there so special that I should rearrange my day so that I can go on it(I have toured a lot of other wineries over the years)? Will I have problems parking if I go later (yes, I have a parking pass)?
