Last week, I flew a flight from DC --> LA and Red kept failing every 15 minutes. They made an announcement that we would be getting an email about a credit within a few days. I called guest care to inquire since it's been almost a week and he told me it generally takes longer than that. When I asked him what the credit would be, he said "it's usually $25" ... is this $25 credited to your credit card or is it credited to your account to be used on a later flight?
I generally don't fly VX so a credit to my CC would be better, but I guess I could make an exception and fly VX LA --> SFO instead of Southwest if I had a credit. Also, does anyone know how many eleVate points you get for LAX --> SFO?
(If you're wondering why I fly Southwest, it's because I'm closer to a reward on Southwest.)
