Good morning/evening. I am a refugee from the BA board and I wonder if anyone can help me with what should be a simple question. I tried to search first but without success.

I am flying SIN-BKK-SIN in August on what I sincerely hope is an an unrestricted J ticket. I need to change the flights. The only way I can access the booking online is if I sign in with a Marco Polo or asiamiles number (which in my case I have not got because the flights are credited to my BA EC number). The email booking confirmation has a PNR but not a ticket number.

Does anyone know whether I can access the booking online or whether I need to call a CP service centre?

Many thanks in advance

I think the only way to access bookings online is if you 1) made the booking online at the cx website or 2) have an asiamiles number in your PNR. Otherwise, I think you have to call CX reservations.

Thanks. I did make the booking online but I can't find a way of getting at it if all I have is the PNR.

the CX website is fairly basic - I think you won't be able to change your flight online even if you have bought it online (or is there some recent improvement lately? - I remember reading something about being able to change flights online or sth like that, but I'm not 100% sure whether it's about CX or some other airlines...)

when you buy a ticket online, I think you can either log in as MPO/AM member, log in as a registered cx.com web user (that you can register online for it during booking I think), or do not log in at all. in the first 2 cases, you will then be able to access the booking again afterwards by logging in again (although again there's not much you can do there except "checking" - you cannot change flight, select seat, etc - again unless there's some recent improvement).

On ba.com (and I think the site of Another Airline :) ) all you need is the PNR.

Thank you - I will resort to the old fashioned technology of the telephone. In a sense it's a little surprising that CX users don't demand more functionality from the website...
