Hilton HHonors - Stockton, CA Hampton Inn - Anyone Care To Comment?

Has anyone stayed recently at the Hampton Inn in Stockton, CA? Please provide feedback on hotel AND surrounding area. Thank you.

I was there a few weeks ago. Typical Hampton Inn. Larger than typical dining area. They are doing some renovations near the lobby - putting in a little store maybe? They didn't have bottled water for sale but I asked at the front desk and they went and grabbed a few bottles for me out of a secret room at no charge.

I was annoyed at the parking situation there. I arrived late and there was some weird guy wandering around. He kind of looked like security and kind of looked like a stalker. It ticked me off that I was forced to park on the backside of the property - just didn't feel safe.

There are lots of strip malls and shopping within 10 miles. There is a Jack in The Box and a gas station in the same parking lot. Easy freeway access. Quiet and comfortable.
