JetBlue TrueBlue - B9 newbie
Besides the free direct TV on flights, what's service like on JetBlue? I'm flying WN a lot these days and flew legacies US and UN mostly before, but bought my first B9 flight from PHX to JFK. I know it's only one free checked bag, $40 for going on an earlier flight, and I need to bring my own earbuds or buy a pair for $1, but anything else I should know?

The IATA code is B6. Not B9.
Welcome to JetBlue. Enjoy your flight and Terra Blue chips.
Happy Jetting!
Hi, I started flying JetBlue in the last year and I'm hooked. I still fly United depending on the route (IAD is my local airport).
Compared to United you get TV, great snacks, more legroom, more comfortable flights, and usually friendlier flight attendants (not always though). I especially like the map. The things I miss most though are channel 9 and the magazine.
The downside is less frequent flights, so if there is a cancelation or delay, you might have a very long wait.

You can go standby on the immediately prior flight for free, IIRC. Other same-day changes cost money. Even with the free snacks I'd suggest bringing food with you if you plan on eating on the 4.5 hour flight. Terra chips are only so filling. Sadly you are flying in to JFK so you won't get to take advantage of the great food options they have in the terminal for buying food for outbound flights.
Also, United is UA, not UN. ;)

Thanks for the info and the corrections on the callsigns - need to fly less and get more sleep :)
