American Express Membership Rewards - How long does it take to receive electronics?

Ordered a Canon camera using MR points a week ago and the online status still says "Order Confirmed" but no "ship date" is indicated. I seem to recall something about "14 days" during the order process, but it appears odd that there's no estimated ship date by this time.

What are typical wait times to receive items? This is my first MR redemption.

PS. Honestly I don't think to many people here on Flyertalk use MR points for merchandise. It has a very low redemption value.
