I think you might want to sign up for their Asia Miles program, and being logged in under your account, you can check for award availability.

Yea but what you see available for Asia Miles does not mean it's the same for AA inventory use. Seatcounter may help but I'm not sure what booking class would indicate availability.

you really need to call AA to get any real info on CX availability. Asia miles tool just tell you the possibility of award seats on a particular date.
