Hilton HHonors - 4 stays within 90 days or not?

I've been lurking for a while but thought I'd stop in for a question.

1. There is an offer from Hilton racing that states the following on its Terms and Conditions page:

"Members who enrol with HHonors will automatically enrol at Blue tier level and must have four stays within 90 days of enrolling to earn Gold VIP status. The usual HHonors re-qualification terms and conditions apply." (typos and all)

So how is it that my 4 stays within 90 days do not get me to Gold? I found out about this offer only recently and enrolled subsequent to (after, following, you get the picture) some of my qualifying stays - but all my stays are within 90 days of enrolling.

Did I miss something here? I know what the HHonors rep told me on the phone but his argument stating only stays subsequent to my enrollment in the racing fast track is contrary to the offer. Within 90 days should mean there is a 90 day window surrounding the enrollment. If Hilton's policy was that only stays subsequent to enrolling would count, then I'm sure that Hilton would have stated just that in the offer.

Adam Burke (or other Hilton rep) can you clarify?

You had to register for the promotion , Hilton Racing, and then have 4 stays within 90 days after enrolling. The stay have to be AFTER you register for the promotion. This is pretty standard with any promotion. You have to sign up for the promotion first and then fulfill the requirements. Stays prior to the promotion don't count, unless you can talk someone into giving you "extra" credit.

The terms also say:

All Hilton Racing members wishing to become a HHonors member must enroll through the dedicated enrolment page hosted on hiltonracing.com Fast track to Gold VIP status is available only to those who enrol for HHonors membership via Hiltonracing.com

So if lurking enrolled in the HHonors fast track via Hiltonracing.com, then he/she fulfilled the requirements. Does the promo state "after" enrolling anywhere?

I would advise you to be cautious about taking up the Hilton racing fast track for gold. Just saw someone mention on this board an offer where in addition to fast track to Gold you can get 50K bonus for 4 stays. Tried to sign up for this today by phone, but heard it was targetted. I am already "gold" so I do not know if this was why I was not targetted.

Any details on this 50k with 4 stays?

I would advise you to be cautious about taking up the Hilton racing fast track for gold. It was several years ago. You would be well served to pay closer attention to the dates of some of these threads.
