I usually take my son skiing the day after Christmas, so far we have stayed at different Hiltons in Utah (Salt Lake) and Steamboat Springs.
Does any one have suggestions for other Hilton properties by major ski resorts.
I see there are some in the Reno area, how far from the resorts?
I see one in Taos NM.
Any others?
The other factor it has to be near a Airport United serves, got to love the miles!!:D

There's a HGVC (Valdoro Lodge) in Breckenridge. More-or-less walk-to-lifts at either the Peak 9 Village (about 5 minutes downhill) or Peak 9 Beaver Run (about 5 minutes uphill) bases. They also have a shuttle van if you're lazy :)
About a 120 minute drive from DEN in a rental car, or take Colorado Mountain Express to the lodge and enjoy our free bus systems throughout Breck and all of Summit County.

Hilton Niseko Village (http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/CTSNVHI-Hilton-Niseko-Village/index.do) will soon be joining the Hilton family and is accepting reservations from 1st July onwards:)

Just a little correction. The hotel in Lake Placid, NY is not a part of Hilton family anymore.

It may be taking a big chance that there will be snow, but there's a few Hilton-family properties in the Flagstaff, AZ area. The Snowbowl resort has been trying to make snow, but the issue has been tied up in the court system for years. If there isn't snow there, the Sunrise resort (about 2-3 hrs east) does make snow. You'd have to fly to PHX or LAS and drive, unless UA codeshares with the USx PHX-FLG (or fly to LAX and take the new AS LAX-FLG). There is skiing near Tucson at Mt Lemmon, but that's very risky to count on.
For the Poconos: There's a few Hilton-family properties in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA area (AVP), and there's skiing at Montage Mountain (again, if it is cold enough to make snow). There's Hampton Inn's in: Stroudsburg, Lehighton, Easton, etc some of which could be convenient for the Poconos proper (even more Hilton-family properties in Allentown). UA serves both AVP and ABE, or it isn't a bad drive from PHL or EWR, weather depending of course.

Don't know. I work part-time at Breck and live 15 miles away, so I haven't had cause to stay there :)
I know that you couldn't book it for revenue online either at some point, so maybe due to the high occupancy and ownership model, it has to be booked by phone.
