Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - What doesn't Enterprise have it's own forum?

Isn't Enterprise one of the bigger rental companies?
Seems like they are everywhere~
I rent from them quite often, and never gave me problems.. pretty good service.. so far.. knock on wood..
usually they'll run out of small cars, so they'll just give me a bigger model for the same rate..
Very prompt service, too..

You know, I was not ten minutes ago wondering the same thing. They're actually the largest rental car company in the country. I think they actually own Alamo and National now. And they even have a quasi-loyalty program (Enterprise Plus).
Avis Budget Group has nothing to do with Enterprise.
Avis Budget Group operates the Avis brand in North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, India, Australia and New Zealand.
Avis Europe plc operates the Avis brand in the rest of the world under licence from the American company, but is otherwise nothing to do with them.
Enterprise owns Vanguard's American business, which is the parent company of Alamo/National in the USA.
Enterprise doesn't however own Vanguard in Europe, Middle East or Asia, where it is owned by Europcar, which used to be owned by VAG, but is now owned by a French investment company (Eurazeo).
The same is true for many other car rental companies - their brands have different owners in different countries around the world.

I agree that Enterprise needs their own thread - I just, today, finished booking a mini-van for Orlando (MCO) in NOV (Thanksgiving holiday week) - ALL OTHER BRANDS $450+ for a week + day rental...Enterprise $174 ($226 all in).
WOW.
Unless the experience becomes a total disaster, and/or the mini-van turns out to be a 2000 Plymouth Voyager, this was a surreal savings.
As an elite w/ both Hertz and Avis, I could not come up with an excuse to pay MORE THAN TWICE just to be "brand loyal".
So - FlyerTalk moderator - please establish a THREAD FOLDER for Enterprise so we can all discuss our experiences w/ this company.

Doesn't always hold true.
13 days Standard SUV at YVR in July:
Enterprise: $1903 CAD (ie about £1000) PLUS CDW and excesses.
Avis: £424 ($850 CAD) All in. No excesses.

I agree that Enterprise needs its own thread. I just heard on the rental car bus at Dallas Love that the sale of National/Alamo is finalized?!? Is that true?

This is probably a better question for the TalkBoard rather than the few people who actually browse this forum.
