I just made Diamond status (woohoo!) yesterday from a stay last weekend (checked out Saturday; posted in 72 hours). The status was reflected in my online profile immediately. I also checked in to the HGI Times Square last night on a 6-night award stay (another woohoo!).
However, I just noticed that my check-in materials reflect my previous gold status (printed on my b'fast vouchers). As usual, my registration packet was pre-printed before my arrival, it appears it was printed before my status change.
So am I entitled to Diamond benefits if I'm already checked in? And for anyone who might know... is it worth it for this particular property? I'm not sure what the difference in status makes (if at all) at this particular property (HGI Times Square NYC).
