Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Asia Miles - free HHonors membership

Today I received a letter from AsiaMiles with a Hilton HHonors Gold VIP membership card. Anyone received it as well? BTW I am MP Gold.

It's a fairly frequent giveaway. I got one a few years ago. Mrs christep got one recently, a couple of months after she reached MPC Silver.

my wife who's MPO Green got free HHonors Silver last year as well via MPO.

not as valuable as the Marriott giveaway that was on the BAEC forum a few months back. literally anyone who put in their details on a website would get complimentary Gold status (equiv to 50 nights ?).

i thought it was too good to be true but got my card in the mail about 2 months after i'd filled in the form ... with my HK address no less, and i'm an inactive BEAC blue .... :|

Ive been silver for at least 3 of the last 5 years... Nothing resembles HHonors turned up in my mailbox!!! :mad::mad:

Anything to do with collecting AM through Hilton? Once they detect you use hotel chain they send you a sweetner? Just a guess.

Nope - Mrs christep has never collected AsiaMiles at any hotel.
