Seems like a good deal. The usual offer is only 10000 points.
This link only seems to work in Firefox. In other browsers it takes you to some other page that doesn't mention the 12500 points. Am I the only one seeing that weird behavior?

I don't see this offer when I click on this link. I am using Firefox 3.0

I am sorry, I don't have an explanation. On my Firefox 1.5.0.7 this goes to a page describing the offer. On Netscape and IE it goes to a totally different page with an application but no mention of the 12500 points.

i just was approved (from being pre-approved) on Gold Rewards Plus or something similar. No starter MR points, but double points on flights and hotels for the first year, and 1.5 thereafter, with free annual fee this year, and AFIAK no charge for the first 5 authorized users
