American Express Membership Rewards - UK BA annual fee refund

I've read on here that you can get your annual fee refunded for the BA Premium Plus Card if you take out the Platinum Card in the UK. Is this still going on because I've just spoke to someone at Amex customer service who said he's never heard of this promotion!

Deal seems to have been scrapped although Amex hasn't bothered telling us officially. You actually got the BA card for nothing if you had a Plat charge card, or £30 if you had any other Amex credit card. It seems, although again no-one has had a letter, that existing cardholders will continue to get the discount for a while.

And it was never a "promotion" - it was officially written into the T&C's of the BA card that Plat holders didn't have to pay.
