Nothing fancy. I doubt its F since its a very short flight.

I took this last Oct...if I remember right it's nothing much too different from say F on HKG-TPE v.v. - so it's sth like appetizer/salad, main course, dessert. and in fact on short routes like this, if I remember right, the food aren't too different between F and J - except maybe bigger portion and served less like airplane food, better Chinese tea etc.

Huh? I recently flew JFK-YVR-HKG in F and the catering was miles ahead of what I've previously had in J to HKG.

That is a fact! Last two times I was in F, the main courses were the same in J. And when I'm in J, if something runs out they see if they call up the F galley to see if they have anything left. :td:

If the F cabin is full exclusively of op-ups then one typically gets the J menu in short haul.
