Hello all,
This is my first post and I found your forum after searching for car hire.
Can anybody help me?
I am looking to rent a Ford Mustang, preferably convertible, on a one way journey, lasting one entire month. I want to pick it up in San Framcisco, and drop it off in New York City.
I have tried, and I am waiting on an email from a website which has requested this car for me from Budget. However, when I try to rent this car directly from the Budget website it seems as if I cannot do it.
As the website that is requesting it for me quotes the price for "Mustang (or similar)", I wonder what the 'similar' means. I can just imagine paying for a Mustang, only to turn up and get something else. Cynical me assumes the website will get my money and claim to cover themselves by quoting "Or Similar" knowing the Mustang never was available in the first place.
The name of the website is FASTCarhire.co.uk.
Thank you in advance if you can help me, or point me in the right direction. I know it is possible to hire a Mustang on a one way journey from West to East because I followed the blog of a Radio dj who did just that, in a Mustang. It is just hard finding exactly how he managed to get one.
