Hilton HHonors - Lake Placid Hilton

I have stayed here before and really enjoyed the visit as well as the visit down south to Lake George. It appears the Lake Placid is no more. What happened?

I actually looked at this hotel the other day for a family trip in a couple of weeks. Thats weird its not showing up. On tripadvisor someone statyed there last week and had an ok experience. The hotel is going through major renovations according to some reviews.

Even if they closed the hotel, wouldn't they still list it and just say under remoldeling with plans to open----. I thought location was great. Only draw back is rooms are scattered over four buildings which in bad weather could be a hassle for guests.

Bizarre it is now called Twin Peaks Resort, but here is the caption for the hotel.
