Budget Travel - What expect: Air Berlin/LTU to JFK

So
I've booked my first Low cost overseas flight to next September
from DUS to JFK by LTU in a A330
What should I expect? or not expect?

Air Berlin are my absolute favourite Low Cost carrier in Europe, in fact, they are one of my favourite European Airlines as there is nothing at all cheap or penny-pinching in the service and little extras they provide. Unlike flying Business Class with a company such as Air France, they'll even supply vegetarians with a meal choice ^.

I'd have no hesitations in flying them over the pond, the only thing I wouldn't expect is lots of leg room or an amazing entertainment service. Otherwise, I think what they offer on longhaul is similar to Finnair now, you get basic meals for free and pay for additional snacks.
