Hello to everybody, a question regarding access tp LAX lounge. I have a flight with a non O/W carrier from LAX. I know I can access CX BUSINESS LOUNGE even when not flying it. How about LAX? Is is considered O/W? Has anybody been in the same situation? I have a 4 hours layover. Thanks

You can - I have not done so, but I asked MPC already.

The OW lounge for CX in LAX is a shared OW lounge at the Bradley Terminal, pass security. You would need to be flying a carrier that departs from Bradley. I suggest you check with CX counter for a pass before heading for security

I have a 4 hours layover. ThanksThe new Biz Lounge is impressively unimpressive (especially after the long wait for it to get finished). And if you hit it at the wrong time - there are a bunch of O/W flights queued up - it's WAY too crowded.
4 hrs? If it's daylight or early evening (and I was going to be in a tin can going over the Pac as I assume you are) I'd take a taxi Manhattan Beach and stroll around - or get a good meal.

MPC said that the shared lounge is considered a CX lounge by CX. Technically a MPC DM can enter with his/her card. However, the concern is whether the lounge attendant is aware of that. I don't know if CX counter can print out a lounge invitation without a flight number, but you are probably correct as it won't hurt to check with the CX counter (if open) first.
