Emirates Skywards - 8 Hour Layover in DXB

I have an 8 hour layover in DXB. Can anyone suggest where a close hotel that I could get for a few hours to get a shower and maybe an hour or two of sleep?

There's an airport hotel at Dubia, where you can have a shower etc and have a room...what airline are you travelling on? If it's Emirates in First or Business then perhaps there can be an arrangement...

Well you are entitled to a hotel if you have a layover of 8h and fly on the next available flight out.
Don't let you tell different ! I was in that situation and had to argue a lot.

Le Meridien Dubai, Al Bustan Rotana & Millennium Dubai are all across the road from DXB.

I am flying out on DL and connecting with EK (its a coach ticket) so I don't think they require anything.

Is there a hotel inside of DXB?
