Travel with Pets - Recommendation for car seat restraint

My 2 guys love going "bye bye." I put them in the back seat of my car and they are unrestrained. I am so afraid of a sudden stop which could cause them to go flying forward. Any recommendations for a safety seat/restraint?
Thanks....

I haven't tried any of the products, but PetSmart has some "booster seats" with built-in restraints, as well as some general restraints if your dogs are bigger than toy size...

If you like any of them, let me know, since I might want them for my pups... :)

My mother has a little dauschund who loves to ride in the car, but couldn't see out the window. We got a "booster" type box that is held in place by a seat belt. In addition, there is a mechanism for the dog's harness to hook in so that she is secure. It is not really a seat, it is larger, and padded with a washable fleece type lining.
Her larger dog, a Belgian Malinois, has a seat belt contraption (sorry I can't describe it better) to which her harness attaches. She can move around, but would be protected in a sudden stop.
I got my mom a golf cart for Christmas so that she could exercise the Malinois. I have trained the dog to "heel" with the cart. She wears her harness, and is attached by a lead. When she tires of running, she just hops onboard. Meanwhile, the dauschund, who is secured by her leash & harness, rides in an elevated basket on the back. The Malinois needs exercise, and my 94 year old mother couldn't physically provide it.
The golf cart is taxi cab yellow, with yellow and white striped seat covers and mother named it the PupMobile. It is quite a site when she heads down the road. Fortunately, the subdivision allows golf carts on the street. I wish I knew how to post a photo!

I use the Lookout 2 Deluxe seat and my Cavalier loves it. She can look out of the window whenever she wants or curl up for a nap in the fake lambswool lined seat which is totally washable There are several variations of it for different sized dogs on this site. All you have to do is put your dog in a good harness and attach it to the strap that comes with the seat and anchors it to the seatbelt. The storage drawer underneath really comes in handy for all of your dogs goodies.

If you Google it, you will most likely find it for less money elsewhere. @:-)

I use a model from http://www.ruffrider.com/ . Looks like they have several to choose from now. The model I have most resembles the Basic, but it seems to have changed a bit. My dog got quite used it and even would lift her foot up to step through it after I slipped it over her head.
