I bought a number of cards (both plastic and virtual) in varying amounts during last year's promotion, so many that I haven't used them all yet. 500 AP miles for the purchase of the $50 card (can be higher amounts, 1000 AP miles for $100 card, etc.), plus points/miles from credit card used to purchase the card(s), plus BW points or airline miles when you stay using the card to pay for the room. Cards never expire.
