Thrifty - Bay Area Thrifty Locations - Any Hyrbid Cars

Just like the title asks - are there any Thrifty locations in the Bay Area which rent hybrids like the Prius or Camry?

SFO and SJC have Prius'. No Camry's that I'm aware of. OAK and the in-town San Francisco location don't advertise any hybrids. You'll need to click the "see more cars" option on the web site to see the rates on the hybrids.

Thanks, I found them....but they tacked on a MASSIVE drop charge for me to take the car down to Orange County :(

Does anyone know of a discount code for one-ways or a code which cancels out the drop-charge?

IIRC, there was a promo code listed in my consolidated thread that had cheap rates for convertibles going south from certain midwest/northeast locations to locations in the South (especially FL), but nothing on the west coast, and that promo's expired now.

I haven't seen or heard of any other ways to waive or reduce drop fees. You might try speaking directly to the city manager in charge of whatever location you plan on renting from and seeing what he/she can do (I posted some direct numbers in another thread here yesterday, IIRC), but likely he or she won't want to give up a car to another location as that means a loss of potential revenue (which is why drop fees are charged). You never know, though...
