iDine/Rewards Network - Website glitch?

I'm signed up to the Alaska Mileageplan version of iDine. Was getting 3miles/$ as an Online member. Until last week, whenever I logged it had a counter at the top saying "You're only x dines away from VIP" status. The counter seems to be based on 10 dines for VIP, although the FAQ says 12.

Anyways, I hit 10 dines last week, said I was VIP. And then on my next dine, I only got 1 mile/$ spent. And all the restaurants are listed as 1 mile/$ spent. At first I thought this was a major downgrade of the program, but since no one's complained about that here, I figure it's just a glitch in my account where it thinks I'm a basic member.

Anyone else run into this problem? I've sent an email to iDine... no response yet.

One thing I have found is that Rewards Network is pretty good with customer responses - I'd call and get this straightened out. And they are definitely closed on the weekends and holidays, iirc. Good luck.

Rewards Network's I. T. Dept may be standard hours, but customer service is open Sat/Sun (though not major hols: Thanksgiving, Xmas, etc.).

Uggh... they wrote back this afternoon. Said my email preference was set to have no emails from them, so I was bumped back down to basic. This is ridiculous, given that it obviously was previously set to receive emails.

I logged in, and yes, sure enough, I was not set to receive emails. I can only guess that a recent update to my security question is to blame. The default on one of the update pages is set to opt out of emails. Stupid on me. Bad design on their end.
